Ross Live to return for second season

Following a successful first season earlier this year, Ross Live is to return to our screens with a second season, kicking-off with a season premiere keynote by Ross Video’s chief executive officer, David Ross and Jeff Moore, executive vice president and chief marketing officer.

Starting on 15 October, the new season will run for eight weeks and will consist of a weekly presentation that will look at a specific live production application, and consider the creative, business and technical challenges customers face in each environment.

The presenters will be joined by customers who will explain their perspective, talk about their priorities, and share their stories.

“The lack of physical events and tradeshows this year has made it all the more important that we stay connected with our partners and customers,” notes chief executive officer, David Ross. “We may be working from home but we’re still innovating, and we want to share all of the amazing developments we’ve been working on. Ross Live Season Two will enable us to do exactly that.

“I think anyone with an interest in production switchers, sports graphics and AV processing should join us on 15 October for a taste of how Ross is yet again challenging conventional thinking.”

Each weekly session will be produced using Ross equipment, and will feature the recently launched Ross Production Services cloud-based remote production platform that enables remote and home-based talent and guests to participate in a production using any computer and internet browser.

“We launched our cloud-based platform during the early stages of the pandemic, and it’s an innovative solution to the challenges of home-working and social distancing,” comments executive vice president, Jeff Moore. “Smart, solutions like this show how Ross can support clients and keep their productions running in spite of challenges caused by the pandemic. We look forward to sharing many other examples throughout Ross Live Season Two.”
