RR Media Europe increases QC facilities to support content population

With the growing demand for content to be delivered with guaranteed 100% integrity by broadcasters and digital platforms, RR Media Europe has increased its London QC capacity with four dedicated QC rooms and a further four Run Time QC booths.

“Market demands for quality guaranteed master assets have led us to a significant expansion in this area,” said Matt Bowman, Commercial Director at RR Media. “As the industry moves further towards automation, master file integrity at source is essential to avoid rejections downstream.”

Its dedicated QC rooms are 5.1 compatible, with remote playback facilities for both file and tape – allowing RR Media to claim that is now the largest QC operator in the UK.

“Our philosophy is to support rights holders and production teams in achieving/meeting the qualitative thresholds first time every time, allowing both TV distributors and major studios to enjoy the speed and cost benefits of automated packaging and delivery via our solar open service platform.
