Sennheiser renews Gold SVG Europe sponsorship

Sennheiser, a leading producer of headphones, microphones and wireless transmission technology, has returned as a Gold sponsor of SVG Europe.

The company has recently unveiled Spectera, billed as the world’s first wideband, bidirectional, digital wireless ecosystem.

Described as a step change in digital wireless technology, Spectera utilises Sennheiser’s WMAS technology, reducing wireless system complexity, increasing capability, and simplifying setup. It delivers full remote control and monitoring (including permanent spectrum sensing); it is highly resistant to RF fading; and its compact bidirectional bodypacks deal with digital IEM/IFB and mic/line signals as well as control data simultaneously, and in the same wideband RF channel. In addition, its base station can handle up to 64 wireless audio links (32 in/32 out) in just 1U of space.

Other innovations include the EW-DX EM 4 Dante receiver, which completes the company’s Evolution Wireless Digital EW-DX microphone offer. The network-ready, 4-channel receiver (19in, 1U) is designed for anybody specifying or setting up large multichannel systems in live audio, touring, broadcasting, theatre and system integration applications.

In addition, the compact MKH 8030 RF condenser microphone with figure-of-eight pick-up pattern is ideal for sports and general broadcasting, offering sensitivity paired with durability in adverse climatic conditions, wide frequency response, a fully floating, balanced output signal, low self-noise and a natural, coherent sound image with no off-axis colouration.
