Sky Sports picks up rights to show coverage of England’s limited overs cricket matches in India

Sky Sports will show exclusive live coverage of England’s ODI and T20 series against India in March after securing a rights deal with Star India.

The deal covers five T20 Internationals (T20I) and three One Day Internationals (ODI) with the first T20I taking place on 12 March in Ahmedabad and the ODI series starting on 23 March in Pune.

England seamer Stuart Broad will be part of the commentary team alongside Dinesh Karthik, David Lloyd, Nasser Hussain, Michael Atherton, Ian Ward, Ebony Rainford-Brent and Rob Key.

The agreement is part of a package of rights that will also see Sky show India’s home tours against South Africa (October 2021), New Zealand (November 2021), West Indies (January 2022) and Sri Lanka (February 2022).

Bryan Henderson, Sky Sports director of cricket, said: “We’re delighted to be broadcasting England’s white-ball tour of India, and are especially looking forward to the five T20 internationals as we build-up to the IPL and the ICC T20 World Cup later this year.”
