Sports video initiative to drive LEADER agenda for 2016

LEADER has announced a promotional initiative designed to increase customer access to its range of test and measurement products. This promotion is available on all the company’s products and reduces the cost of renting LEADER equipment from its distributors, preferred dealers and system integrators.

“2016 is a major sporting year, including the Rio Olympics and UEFA European Football Championships,” commented European Regional Development Manager Kelvin Salvidge. “The resultant pressure on mobile broadcast services puts rental companies in a dilemma when it comes to investing in test and measurement equipment to support their customers at these events. Do they simply purchase more HD equipment and ignore the growing demand for 3840 x 2160 UHD? Or do they protect their investment by selecting products which can be upgraded at any time to UHD?

2016 sports events encompassed by this promotion include the Winter Youth Olympics in Norway, the UK World Track Cycling Championships, ICC World Twenty20 in India, French Open Tennis, UEFA Euro in France, Wimbledon tennis tournament, the Tour de France, British Open Golf, the Summer Olympics in Brazil plus the UCI Road & The World Cycling Championships in Qatar.
