Stefano Pucello to depart Rycote

UK-based advanced microphone windshield and suspension system manufacturer Rycote has announced the forthcoming departure of Stefano Pucello, the company’s sales and marketing director. During his time at Rycote, first as sales & marketing manager and then as sales and marketing director since 2011, the company has diversified from its original broadcast supply base into the pro audio and DSLR accessories markets.

Pucello – who will leave at the end of this month – initially plans a well-earned rest before deciding on his next career move.

“It’s always important to leave a company on a high note, having achieved what you came on board to accomplish, and Rycote has expanded enormously into new markets during the time I’ve been here,” he comments. “I have made a lot of friends at Rycote here in the UK and with their representatives overseas, and I wish everyone the best for the future. After a short break, I will begin looking for a new professional challenge. The Rycote sales team will meanwhile be headed up by the very capable managing director and co-owner, Simon Davies.”

Simon Davies adds: “Stefano has been a key member of the Rycote team for over three and a half years, working hard to maintain and develop our reputation internationally during a time of great change, and we will all miss him. He’s helped us launch the Universal Camera Kit and the USM internationally to the DSLR and pro audio markets, together with their many spin-offs. We are grateful to him, and hope he enjoys his well-deserved time off.”
