Supponor appoints former MD of BT Sport Simon Green as its new chief operating officer 

Simon Green, the former MD of BT Sport, has been named as chief operating officer (COO) at Supponor.

Green, a respected and experienced broadcaster from the global sports broadcast industry, will lead the Supponor customer journey, focusing on enhancing user experiences and ensuring seamless integration of the company’s global virtual advertising solutions. He has an impressive track record of delivering significant growth and transformation for major organisations, adding hundreds of millions of dollars in bottom-line growth. He also brings extensive international experience, having worked for major broadcasters and sporting bodies in the UK and around the world, including Sky Sports, Fox Sports and The Football Association.

In an executive career spanning more than three decades, Green has demonstrated exceptional leadership capabilities across strategy, transformation, governance, mentoring and operational performance. He has successfully delivered the creative launch of global television services and has also led the build of efficient operational infrastructure and production facilities. With strong governance skills, he has also ensured regulatory compliance, managed significant commercial broadcast rights and assets and been an advocate for worker equity within the industry.
