Telestream has released the latest version of Wirecast Pro, addressing two of the challenges facing users when they are looking to better engage and reach wider audiences: cost concerns and broadband limitations; as well as ensuring viewers have an optimal viewing experience regardless of which platform they choose.

With Wirecast Cloud Multistreaming, users can now send a single stream to the cloud and distribute it across multiple platforms, meaning it is possible to be live on Facebook, YouTube, Twitch and other sites at the same time, maximising visibility and engagement. Users can send live feeds to any platform more cost effectively via the cloud. Streaming data research shows that 28% of live social viewers stream from multiple platforms, thus not tapping into diverse groups could mean missing out on significant audience viewership opportunities.

With the new cloud multistreaming feature, Wirecast does the heavy lifting regarding internet upload speed, bandwidth and CPU, without the need to purchase hardware to handle generating multiple streams. It also offers an efficient way to expand reach and creates new opportunities to share content with a broader audience. By streaming to multiple destinations, including social media platforms and other sites, creators can maximise both reach and engagement for their messaging.
