Two Telstra executives will contribute to conference discussions at IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, sharing insights on the topics of fan engagement and the role of technology in reshaping live content.
On Friday 12 September (12:00-13:00, IABM Impact Stage, IABM Hub), Anna Lockwood, head of media & sport at Telstra International, will join the panel “Mastering Multiplatform Fan Engagement in Live Sports.”
Lockwood will discuss how broadcasters and streamers are using live production technology to deliver new levels of fan engagement. Other panellists include Claire Wilkie (Limitless), Rick Young (LTN), and Matt Stagg (MTech Sport, Media & Entertainment).
And, on Sunday 14 September (14:00-14:45, Content Everywhere Hall 4 Stage), Karen Clark, CEO of Telstra Broadcast Services, will take part in “New frontiers in live video: new experiences for new audiences.”
The session will examine how internet-based and 5G connectivity are reshaping live content, from multiview sports coverage to live wildlife feeds, while enabling new business models and use cases. Chaired by Allan McLennan (PADEM Media Group, IET Media Technical Network), the panel will also feature Krish Kumar (Wowza) and Rob Koenen (Tiledmedia).
