TF1 uses Grass Valley’s K2 Dyno for RWC replays

France: As France prepares to settle down at the weekend and see if anyone can really keep up with the All Blacks, TF1 will be using two Grass Valley K2 Dyno Replay Systems to enable live HD replays, slo-mos etc of the Rugby World Cup final.

The TF1 systems use both a K2 Summit and K2 Solo connected with an external HDD for replay, slow-motion, loop record, play-list, and storage.

It is performing very well and standing up to the rigours of the World Cup, having to create live replays for up to three games back-to-back. We also plan to use it for some of our Formula 1 coverage.”
