TV Azteca Taps Level 3′s Vyvx to Transmit Tournament to Mexico City
Level 3 Communications will distribute the international feed of this summer’s soccer mega-event to TV Azteca starting June 12, 2014. A top broadcaster in Mexico, TV Azteca will use Level 3′s high quality, broadcast-based Vyvx Solutions to provide diverse routes in the transmission of the tournament feed from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to TV Azteca’s teleport in Mexico City.
TV Azteca’s networks are committed to broadcasting comprehensive coverage of the athletic event for its millions of viewers. By collaborating with Level 3, the broadcaster will provide its customers with smooth, uninterrupted access to every game. Level 3 also will manage all encoding, decoding and switching equipment for TV Azteca.
