TV Skyline adopts Grass Valley for new top-end OB truck

For its new OB truck TV Skyline has purchased an NVISION 8576 3G hybrid routing system in a 576×1152 frame with 549 inputs and 922 outputs; a large Kaleido Modular and Kaleido MX multiviewer system able to monitor up to 448 different sources on 112 displays including 4K/UHD; four high-density LUMO frames with more than 100x 3G-SDI to fibre and fibre to 3G-SDI converters; and an LDX 86 Universe 4K/UHD and XtremeSpeed-capable fibre camera system.

As one of the largest OB van companies in Germany, TV Skyline has been serving clients with a full range of on-site broadcast services for more than 20 years. The new equipment gives the company everything it needs to remain a leader and take its business to the next level.
“Performance, cost, and reliability are equally important to us,” explained Wolfgang Reeh, owner of TV Skyline. “We rely on our equipment to not only deliver on our promises with existing customers, but also to help us win new business by positioning us as innovators. This investment was carefully considered and is a strategic part of our mission to be the best in the OB van business.”
