Tyson Fury fights to be shown live on BT Sport and ESPN
Fights featuring British heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury will be shown live on ESPN and BT Sport after the lineal champion’s promoter Frank Warren agreed a multi-year, multiple fight contract with the two broadcasters.
Warren, working alongside Bob Arum’s Top Rank, will push Fury’s fights in the US on ESPN. BT Sport will show his bouts in the UK.
The ESPN deal is thought to be worth $80m.
Warren said of the deal: “This is a great move for Tyson Fury and a great move for Queensberry Promotions.
“By partnering up with ESPN and Top Rank in America, we’re giving Tyson the opportunity to perform on the biggest and most powerful platforms on both sides of the Atlantic and become a truly global star.”
An announcement on Fury’s next fight will be made in due course, the promoter’s statement added.
