V-Nova’s Matt Hughes joins M2A Media as chief commercial officer

M2A Media has appointed former V-Nova vice president of global sales Matt Hughes as its chief commercial officer (CCO).

In his new role, Hughes will be responsible for M2A Media’s commercial strategy and direction, leading the company’s business development, sales, and marketing operations.

The company said that the appointment will further bolster its senior leadership team, as it looks to strengthen and expand its media solutions worldwide.

Prior to joining V-Nova, Hughes was VP of EMEA sales at Conviva, a key account sales manager, EMEA at AWS Elemental Technologies and director of sales, EMEA for the Chyron Corporation.

Talking about the appointment, Marcus Box, CEO of M2A Media said, “We are delighted to confirm Matt Hughes as our new chief commercial officer and are looking forward to him joining M2A’s senior leadership team. M2A Media enables OTT platforms, broadcasters and sports-rights owners, including DAZN, ITV, Channel 4, Spark Sport and BritBox, to use the cloud for live video via its smart orchestration and management tools.
