Vizrt expands in UK with new staff hires

Vizrt UK is scaling up technical support service from its base in London’s Ealing Studios. Bernd Riedewald, a former System Specialist and Designer from Vizrt’s Austrian centre will take on the role of Senior System Specialist, heading a team of four other engineers.

Riedewald has over ten years’ experience in graphic design for a variety of media and he most recently provided graphics services for Red Bull’s record breaking extreme sports events. He takes over the role from Mark Ryan, who specialised in Vizrt broadcast graphics for the last seven years and who led Vizrt UK’s technical team. Ryan is transferring to Vizrt’s MAM operation as its UK Project Manager. He works closely with Vizrt UK’s new three member MAM team, Technical Sales Manager Freddie Albertsman, Solution Architect James Scott and Technical Accounts Manager Sean Curry.

Vizrt UK Ltd has also hired Muhammad Muneeb and Daniel McCarthy, both with previous broadcast engineering experience, to join the support team. Muneeb has worked in broadcast since 2007, most recently as a special project engineer for Presteigne Charter and was a vision engineer and broadcast system engineer working on Sports, Entertainment and Factual events.
