Vünder Sports Network powering onwards with CodecSys

Broadcast International has been selected by Vünder Sports Network (VSN) to deploy CodecSys as the core platform for its OTT sports network. The three-year agreement includes a revenue share between the companies, estimated to be more than $500,000 over the life of the contract.

VSN is a global broadcasting company with exclusive rights to niche sports programming. Subscribers can access live and previously recorded events, as well as adventure sports programming. Vünder has distribution rights to extreme and popular international sports including rugby, skiing, snowboarding, motocross, surfing and a host of other related content.

We aim to meet the growing demand for alternative sports programming by enabling fans of international sports to follow their favourite teams and sports that are not otherwise available. Utilising the CodecSys transcoding technology allows Vünder to distribute its high-value content across its IP-based networks throughout the world more efficiently and cost effectively. This agreement gives us the flexibility to share in the rapid revenue growth of our customers.”
