wTVision issues new version of Studio CG

The new version of Studio CG adds the ability to control independent video servers and graphics engines, enabling the playout of videos and graphics from a single integrated environment. The latest generation of Studio CG solution may include its own internal video server, wTVision Media Playout Server, capable of multiple independent outputs simultaneously.

This new feature sits alongside Studio CG’s other main goal: to control all major existing graphics engines from Vizrt, ORAD, Ross Video, Chyron to provide real-time on-air graphics for your shows.

Studio environments are filled with video displays and devices that must be controlled from within the PCR. With Studio CG, multiple sources of video may be queued and played out to separate destinations.

wTVision MOS Gateway and wTVision MOS ActiveX add-on connects Studio CG with your newsroom environment.

This workflow allows journalists to choose from the program’s existing graphic templates, to access all available video and graphic media and to prepare, preview and manage their stories which get automatically channeled through the wTVision MOS Gateway to Studio CG creating a synchronised rundown with Newsroom System, in real-time.

Studio CG also works independently if the existent workflow doesn’t include a NRCS.

Studio’s CG new version is being introduced at the Amity University project, in India. For this customer, wTVision is providing a solution that includes: Ingest, Video Server and MAM. In addition wTVision will deploy a File Transfer Manager that receives requests from MOS Gateway or Studio CG and guarantees that media are at playout locations every time a video is dropped in a newsroom story.
