LMC, in concert with its new Asian distribution partner, KOMI, supplied four Antelope MkIIs to the KBS production of the IAAF Worlds in Korea. Kitted out with Canon J22x and J86x lenses, all systems were hard-wired using SMPTE cables with LEMO connectors.

Germany: Highlighting the occasional perils of live production, a pitch invasion at The Frankfurt Arena during a Bundesliga test for Sportcast saw the first of LMC’s new Antelope II super slo-mo cameras – serial number 001 – smashed to the ground and destroyed.
