Brooks: “We are committed to delivering a world class virtual event in place of IBC.”

Zixi has announced it will hold a series of webinars to discuss its latest Software-Defined Video Platform (SDVP) developments.

Zixi’s SDVP is a platform for delivering live video over any IP network, any protocol, any cloud provider and any edge device. The webinars, which will be held over the traditional IBC time frame, will detail the latest SDVP updates, feature in-depth discussions between top customers and partners in the industry and provide demonstrations from integrated technology partners.

As part of the showcase, Zixi will be exhibiting new and existing capabilities of the Zixi SDVP recently released in Version 14 of the software, including capabilities and enhancements in the area of protocols and transport, the video solutions stack and Zen Master.

Zixi’s executive chairman and CEO Gordon Brooks will be on hand to explain the different elements of the Zixi SDVP: the Zixi Protocol and 16 supported protocols, the Zixi Video Solutions Stack, ZEN Master Control Plane, and the Zixi Enabled Network of integrated technology partners.

Brooks will explain how each of the four components allows the broadcaster video network to be intelligently and centrally managed using software and integrated devices, across IP networks, industry protocols, different cloud providers and edge devices.

“With COVID-19 impacting events in to 2021, we are going to miss meeting with our customers and partners at IBC this year but are committed to delivering a world class virtual event in its place,” said Brooks.  “Zixi customers have been forced to quickly and dramatically change how they deliver their services, and we look forward to demonstrating how we have been very successful helping them continue to operate but also provide new offerings for growth.”
