Coach, Analyst, Technical Expert
Lisa Fallon is a UEFA Pro Licence Coach, a football analyst with RTÉ, and a technical expert in global football.
She currently works as a full-time consultant in FIFA’s Global Football Development Division and has held the highest football coaching qualification, the UEFA Pro Licence, since 2018
Lisa worked with the Northern Ireland men’s national team from 2012-2018 as the Team/Opposition Analyst (including Euro 2016).
She is the first woman to be named as a coach on the Technical Bench in a men’s Champions League (2018) and the men’s Europa League (2015) fixture and the first to become Head Coach of a professional men’s football team in Ireland and UK – Galway United in 2021. She was the first woman to work on the RTE panel for men’s Champions League and internationals and the first to manage a men’s team in Ireland.
Coaching highlights include winning the FAI Cup and League of Ireland Premier Division double in 2017 with Cork City and the WSL and Continental League Cup double with Chelsea Women in 2020.
Lisa currently serves on the Board of Paralympics Ireland as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of their High-Performance Committee. She also serves on the Olympic Federation of Ireland’s Gender Equality Commission and on Sport Ireland’s Women in Sport Committee and is the Chair of Coaching Working Group.
