Peter Van Dam

Peter Van Dam has 40+ years of experience in media and broadcast. In 2008 he led the transition to HD for Abu Dhabi Media outside broadcast department. From 2014 to 2018, he held the position as Director of Technology at Abu Dhabi Media. At the same time, founded Audio Video Consulting LLC in Dubai, focussing on implementing cloud technology across all broadcast areas.

His passion for educating, restructuring, and implementing new technologies made him a motivated ambassador for cloud solutions. In 2022, he accepted the role as CTO of Saudi Sports Company. Recently, and In line with the future 2030 vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and his goal to introduce new technologies like cloud and remote production workflows, Peter joined the Saudi Pro League Media House in August 2023 as COO elevating the media production execution on a sport that is the heart of the country.
