AWS Six Nations Ambassador
Will Carling O.B.E. is a former England Rugby Captain and AWS Six Nations Ambassador.
At the age of 22, Will was England’s youngest rugby Captain. He captained the England team for 59 Tests, winning 44 of them, and gained 72 caps, the longest-serving rugby captain ever.
His leadership qualities ensured England dominated the Five Nations in the first half of the 1990s, completing Grand Slams in 1990, 1991 and 1995, plus a further Championship with Triple Crown in 1996. Will led England to the World Cup final in 1991 and also the semi-finals four years later.
In November 2018, Will was asked by Eddie Jones to become part of his coaching team to help nurture and develop the leaders in the current England Rugby team. In addition to this, Will runs a sports hospitality and event management company, WCM Ltd, which he founded in 1999. He has also just launched The Pack Cycling Club, which delivers virtual and bespoke cycling days with current cycling professionals and former sports personalities.
Will has a degree in Psychology from Durham University.
