Head of Operations and Engineering, Eurovision Services
Amine Hafnaoui has worked his way up through the ranks of the European Broadcasting Union over the past 15 years. Having graduated as a Telecommunications Engineer from the Geneva School of Engineers in 2004, he joined the European Broadcasting Union as a resource engineer before moving to pre- sales and sales and ultimately heading the central administration and support department.
When Eurovision Services was spun out of the European Broadcasting Union in 2019, Hafnaoui was appointed head of operations and engineering, reporting directly to the CEO with responsibility for the company’s biggest department, consisting of well over a hundred full-time employees working at the company headquarters in Geneva and regional offices in Madrid, Singapore and Washington, as well as fifty freelance staff. Operations and engineering is responsible for the Eurovision Global Network and for ensuring delivery of all major events coordinated by Eurovision Services.
