Head of Projects, CTV Outside Broadcasts
Richard Morton has been at CTV since 2011 having started his career at the BBC in 2004. Joining as a vision engineer and developing into the head of projects, he is an experienced engineer in the field of broadcasting work that CTV covers, including major sporting events such as Olympic Games, Asian Games and the Open Golf, alongside many other live sports and entertainment productions.
As head of projects, Morton is responsible for the development and integration of the company’s OB trucks, fly-pack systems and new technology. With his passion for new technology, Richard has overseen all of CTV’s UHD truck upgrades and designed its ST2110 IP infrastructure as the company migrates to a fully IP enabled workflow.
