MAMA Youth Project, Founder and Chief Executive
In 2005, after 20 years of working in television, Bob Clarke wanted to address the lack of inclusion in the industry. He funded the production of a one hour DVD of What’s Up London, a magazine show, and paid for thousands of copies to be duplicated and distributed. On completion, 14 out of the 16 trainees got jobs. That’s when Bob realised he could make a difference to young lives and help change the face of our industry and so founded the charity, MAMA Youth Project. He continued training more young people and now the show is broadcast on Sky One in its 16th season.
