Head of New Technologies, Broadcast & Media, Formula 1
Trevor Turner’ is the head of new technologies, broadcast and media, at Formula 1.
His career spans 38+ years in the broadcast TV engineering industry. Trevor started as a Technical Assistant at the BBC, then moved on to ITN and CNN before joining Formula 1 in 1997.
Trevor has worked on every facet of broadcast TV engineering systems. From studios, VT operations and maintenance early in his career, through MCR and international SNG operations, to large mobile sports production infrastructures, international live content distribution, archive and asset management systems and international remote operations systems.
Most recently Trevor has been developing cloud broadcast solutions as part of his current remit to leverage new broadcast technologies in support of Formula 1 broadcast operations evolution.
