Senior Producer/Director, BBC Sport
Beginning her career at the BBC in 1985 in the regional newsroom in Leeds, Sally has worked for BBC Sport for 30 years and currently works on a variety of sports including both codes of rugby, major events such as Olympics and Commonwealth Games and also Wimbledon for which she is the executive producer.
Sally’s main output revolves around OBs on the presentation element which is predominantly on-site and less frequently in a studio setting. This area of output has obviously seen a massive change in workflow since the pandemic forced the BBC into finding alternative methods of delivering content and continues to present many challenges which they are meeting and successfully overcoming.
