Event Postponed

Following advice from the Norwegian Health Authorities, it has been decided to postpone the Nordic Summit 2020. The decision was made with delegate and speaker safety and health in mind following concerns about the potential impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak around Europe. A new date for the event will be announced in due course.

Getting to Media City Bergen

Media City Bergen is conveniently located in the centre of Bergen, with easy access via public transportation and is only a short walk from the Bystasjonen bus station.

From Bergen Flesland airport

Bus: Express buses depart from the airport every 10 minutes and take less than 30 minutes to the Bus Station (Bystasjonen). From there, walk southward towards Media City Bergen. Price is NOK 115 each way and tickets are available inside and outside the airport or upon boarding the bus: www.flybussen.no/

Light rail: The Bybanen light rail departs every 6-10 minutes and takes approximately 45 minutes to the Nygård tram stop, which is across the street from the MCB entrance in Lars Hilles gate. Tickets are available for sale from multiple locations inside and outside the airport, but not after boarding the train: www.skyss.no/en/

Taxis are available outside the airport; fare to downtown ranges from NOK 450-550. Take the taxi to Media City Bergen, Odd Frantzens plass 5. You can also book a taxi service directly by calling Bergen Taxi on 07000: www.bergentaxi.no/english

Car Parking

Parking is not available within Media City Bergen but visitors arriving by car may park for a fee in the nearby Bystasjonen parking garage: www.bergenparkering.no

Opened in 2017, Media City Bergen is home to the Norwegian Media Cluster with companies such as Vizrt, Vimond, Mediability, Sixty, Highsoft, TV 2, NRK, Bergens Tidende, BA and the University of Bergen among the key players.
