SVGE Education Update: February apprenticeship opportunity for sports companies at Ravensbourne

SVG Europe’s training guru Professor David Crawford has helped to organise a special information event at Ravensbourne on February 16 to explain to broadcast and sports video companies all they need to know about the great opportunities and support available for apprentices at Ravensbourne, under the Government’s new Degree Apprenticeship Scheme.

Companies will learn how to recruit into and sustain an apprenticeship programme, how to take advantage of the Government’s Training Levy for financing the programme, and how the Ravensbourne curriculum optimally balances external work, training and hands-on projects.

Ravensbourne College, situated next to the O2 Arena in North Greenwich, has become one of the UK’s leading institutions to run ‘company-friendly’ degree courses for apprentices/trainees across the broadcast and communications sectors.
