AJA renews its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe

AJA has returned as a Gold sponsor of SVG Europe.

The company’s gear is deployed across a broad range of sports productions and workflows. Quidich, for instance, leverages AJA equipment – including the FS-HDR real-time universal converter and frame synchroniser – to support live sport broadcasts for events like cricket, football, basketball and kabaddi. FS-HDR is a colour correction solution for matching its BuggyQam camera output with its broadcast system cameras to ensure a consistent look.

AJA Bridge Live, meanwhile, is proving an integral tool for esports productions such as those managed by BlackStar Group. The last stop of esports productions, BlackStar Group gets final production feeds into its Bridge Live units and then sends them out to its distribution platform, enabling low-latency feeds for a producer that isn’t in the building, or private, high-quality feeds. Because the team uses Bridge Live to send feeds to multiple endpoints, they can send them to failover distribution platforms as well, providing more flexibility in failover and protection. The device also lets users execute a range of pipelines and multiple syncs and go to multiple locations over different ISPs without incurring extra overhead.

“Technological advancements in live sport production are giving way to incredible new fan experiences from hockey to football, cricket, esports and beyond,” said Bryce Button, director of product marketing, AJA. “SVG Europe’s dedication to the space is readily apparent in its detailed coverage of groundbreaking new tools, innovative workflows, and the names and faces shaping the industry. The organisation has built such an active community around the space and provided a stage for integral players to share their latest innovations with events that inspire forward-thinking conversations. We’re excited to renew our membership this year.”

SVG Europe’s Football Summit will explore production of the beautiful game, with topics including the art of directing, making coverage more immersive, creating content for clubs, advanced punditry and analysis and more. For more information on the 22 March event and to register click here
