Arkona renews Gold SVG Europe sponsorship in ‘pivotal year’
Arkona Technologies has returned as a Gold sponsor of SVG Europe. Over the past decade the company has been the technology provider for some of the world’s largest broadcasters and, as the adoption of remote and IP workflows has increased, so has the success of arkona’s IP-based technology portfolio.
CEO Rainer Sturm said: “We’re excited to see the incredible adoption of IP-based production tools in the past few years and are proud of the part that arkona has played. Together with our sales and marketing partner Lawo we have been a technology partner of most major sports events since Sochi in 2014.
“Lately, the size and scope of our IP installs have grown exponentially to where we are now providing core infrastructure at a large number of events every year, such as for the recent 2020 Olympics in Tokyo and the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.”
Sturm continued: “Arkona Technologies is pleased to yet again partner with SVG Europe for the fifth, and what we believe will be a pivotal, year in the broadcast technology space. SVG Europe is a great community of users and suppliers that we are happy to be a part of and support.”
Arkona’s portfolio of IP-based core infrastructure is centred around V__matrix, a software-defined ecosystem of high-density audio/video routing, processing and monitoring solutions licensed to and sold under the Lawo brand.
