Behind The Lens: New series of educational videos launched to inspire the next generation
SVG Europe Women has released a series of educational videos called Behind the Lens that showcase what it is like to work in sports broadcasting.
Created in partnership with production company Aurora Media and technical services providers NEP and QTV, the free-to-watch videos are designed for children and young adults aged 11+ with the aim of increasing industry diversity and attracting young new talent.
The first series consists of nine short explainer interviews with people in key roles in live sports, including a camera operator, director, technical manager and replay operator.
The Behind the Lens series is for use by individuals, the industry and educators – we encourage you to watch and share this amazing free resource.
Each video can be viewed individually or in a 20-minute full-length cut.
They can be watched in various ways:

- Downloaded via Vimeo for use in the classroom.
