Bridge Technologies targets operator training with new Academy course
Bridge Technologies reconvenes its Academy training in May with a “Train the Operators” session to be held at the company’s new central Oslo headquarters. By introducing attendees to the fundamentals of end-to-end monitoring for digital media before going into detail on advanced operational issues, the two-day session will equip monitoring and analysis personnel with in-depth knowledge and real-world skills.
The course also provides operational training in the new features introduced in the most recent product and software releases. Bridge Technologies’ industry-first solution for monitoring DVB-T2 and T2MI will be covered, as will the deployment and use of the VB330 10G probe for high-traffic core networks. Attendees will also receive an introduction to monitoring for OTT services.
During the course, which takes place May 29-30, attendees will have access to a full Bridge Technologies system operating on live commercial channels.
“Train The Operators” courses are led by Bridge Technologies Academy head Martin Crawley, and the full course content includes:
- End-to-end monitoring fundamentals
- Introduction to the MPEG transport stream
- IPTV protocol mappings
- Transport streams and ETR290 in the Bridge Technologies MediaWindow
