Broadcast Solutions opts for Bronze SVG Europe sponsorship

Systems integrator Broadcast Solutions has renewed its Bronze sponsorship of SVG Europe.

Established in Germany in 2023, the company has 14 offices worldwide, offering sales, project planning, production and more.

2024 started on a strong note for Broadcast Solutions, with news that it has built a second all-IP outside broadcast truck for South African broadcaster SuperSport. The new unit, IP2 (pictured), is a slightly smaller sister unit to IP1, which was delivered in mid-2023. This was followed last month by the news that it has delivered a large outside broadcast truck, flyaway kits and support systems, including a specialist VAR van, to Azam Media.

Broadcast Solutions has also recently designed and implemented a complex and innovative remote production environment for new sports network Dyn Media, working with NEP Germany. Broadcast Solutions built six units it calls venue kits. Each has a core rack in a flight case with three stage boxes, connected over fibre. Typically six cameras plus minicams feed into the core rack, along with microphones and other audio sources, all using SMPTE ST 2110 standard equipment.
