Cloudbass returns as a Bronze sponsor of SVG Europe

Cloudbass, which is known for providing OB vehicles for the coverage of countless tier 1 and 2 sports events such as the Scottish Premier League, motorsport and boxing, has renewed its Bronze sponsorship of SVG Europe.

The company runs a fleet of scalable IP trucks, utilising SMPTE 2110 and 2022-6 and conventional HD-SDI topology enabling it to deliver projects of all levels of complexity.

2023 saw Cloudbass embark on a strategic upgrade programme that included making a significant investment in EVS’ LiveCeption Signature solution. EVS XT3 servers were replaced and additional XT-VIA servers were deployed to augment its capabilities.

In addition to the XT-VIA servers, Cloudbass’ purchase included LSM-VIA remote control units, granting operators seamless access to content from XT-VIA servers and enabling the creation of instant replays and top-tier highlights. These LSM-VIAs will also be equipped with Multireview capabilities. The inclusion of XFile3 in the workflow simplifies file transfer and archive management during live productions.

Headquartered in Derbyshire, England, the company also has a major presence in Glasgow, with Cloudbass Scotland delivering over 150 OBs per year.
