Cobalt Digital renews Gold SVG Europe sponsorship

Cobalt Digital, a designer and manufacturer of edge devices for live video production and master control, has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.

The company, a founding partner in the openGear initiative, offers a full range of openGear-compliant solutions as well as video and audio processing products for closed caption compliance, production trucks, master control, HD news, signal transport, audio loudness processing and colour correction.

Recent innovations include the Wave high-density router series. Designed to accommodate any variety of applications with support for signals up to 12G-SDI, the routers are packed into a 3.75in-deep 4U frame with full-size BNC connectors and also include an Ethernet port for IP-based controls that allow full setup, salvos, monitoring and preset management. This compact design is specifically optimised for 12G-SDI operation but handles lower SDI rates, as well as ASI and MADI. A series of customisable control panels specifically designed by Cobalt to accommodate the new Wave routers are also available.

Also new this year are the Sapphire BBG-2110-H/S and Sapphire BBG-2110-2H JPEG-XS mini converters that offer high-quality design, function and reliability in a small package. The units, part of Cobalt’s compact Blue Box Group, include single or dual 25Gb/s ports (for ST 2022-7 redundancy) and include full NMOS support for ease of configuration.
