Create Share Engage 2024: More names added to speaker line-up for 23 May event in London

Speakers from Sky Sport, Host Broadcast Services (HBS) and Little Dot Sport have been added to the agenda for this year’s Create Share Engage 2024, which takes place at Kings Place in London on 23 May.

Alexander Mölders, Sky Sport, director of concepts & performance; Katie Matthews, Little Dot Sport, partnerships director; and Tim Stott, HBS, executive producer digital, will take part in a 9:16 content production masterclass, showcasing their work and sharing best practices when it comes to producing live and on-demand content for mobile. The panel will highlight what works, and what doesn’t, and provide the secret to ensuring broadcasters and ‘Generation TikTok’ alike are engaged.

The full-day conference and networking event, sponsored by Appear, will also welcome high-level speakers from social media networks, streaming platforms and federations. This includes Sanjit Sarkar, TikTok, strategic partner manager, sport, who will discuss short-form video’s relationship and relevance to sport, its audience and its place in the live and on-demand sports market, in a special fireside chat.

In addition, Glen Killane, EBU, executive director for sport, will share details of Eurovision Sport, the EBU’s new direct-to-consumer streaming platform for Olympic sports. He will reveal the origins of the service, its purpose, how it fits into the wider media strategies for the various associations and federations involved, and where it and sports streaming might go next.

Also on the bill, Ampere Analysis will explore the latest research covering European sports video consumption across mobile, OTT, streaming and other digital products, outlining both where we are now and how it could look in the coming years.

Other topics set to be discussed include fan engagement, clipping and highlights generation, and interactivity for live digital sports.

In addition to the conference, there will be tabletop exhibitors, refreshments and ample time for networking.
