Eurovision Services renews Gold SVG Europe sponsorship

Eurovision Services has returned as a Gold sponsor of SVG Europe. The company works with media organisations and sports federations around the world to maximise their content value by producing and delivering sport, news and culture/entertainment content to the right audiences at the right time.

Its offering includes Content Hub, which automates the live content management process and opens up new possibilities for users to enhance its value; a WorldFeed service that leverages the Eurovision Global Network to ensure media organisations are aware of content and can access it using equipment they already have; live broadcast-quality distribution via satellite, fibre and SRT; and broadcast management services for sports federations and event organisers.

Eurovision Services recently signed a multi-year agreement with Eutelsat Communications for capacity on several satellites including 7° East and 10° East. This will enable Eurovision to support the live transmission of major sports events to audiences in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, via Eutelsat’s fleet.

The company also continues to work with Aurora Media Worldwide on Super League Triathlon. For the 2023 Championship, Eurovision Services gave intro programming and event previews – free of rights and distribution charges – to the hundreds of broadcasters networked to its WorldFeed and WorldLink services, which blend satellite distribution, a 30-day VOD facility and content promotion. This was in addition to onsite satellite uplink and distribution services.
