Speakers from FIFA and World Table Tennis will be among the participants at SVG Europe’s Federations Focus, an online event taking place 12 October at 2pm (BST).
Designed specifically for sporting federations, associations, leagues, clubs and other rights owners, Federations Focus will share best practice across in-house and outsourced production as well as fan engagement and direct-to-consumer streaming strategies.
Find out how FIFA went about launching FIFA+, the global football federation’s very own ad-funded OTT offering that was unveiled earlier this year. FIFA Director of MA/OTT & Digital Dave Roberts will share insight into the development and launch of the D2C service that shows live games, feature-length documentaries and archive content during the ‘How We Did It: Going Direct with FIFA+’ session.
Head of Infront Productions Peer Seitz will take part in ‘The Big Debate: What Federations Want’ discussion, sharing his experiences of working with some of the sporting world’s most innovative federations, with insight into their aims and objectives for the capture and creation of content.
Also, Joachim Davy, Content & Creative Director at World Table Tennis (WTT) will discuss how WTT has created a cloud-based archive for table tennis, enabling the federation to create content before, during and after tournaments from anywhere in the world to boost engagement with players and fans.
