LiveU forms strategic partnership with TAG Video Systems

LiveU and real-time media deep monitoring and visualisation software solutions provider Tag Video Systems have announced a strategic partnership.

The collaboration will “empower live news and sports broadcasters to deliver exceptional live video experiences with unparalleled quality assurance,” the companies said.

Through the partnership, TAG Video Systems’ real-time media performance solutions will monitor LiveU’s live video transmission feeds, notify for events per custom set thresholds and visualise them in real-time. This integration will be particularly beneficial for live news and sports production, where maintaining pristine video quality and catching issues before they impact viewers is critical.

Broadcasters will gain real-time visibility into live feeds and the health and performance of live video streams from remote locations, assistance with problem solving and spotting potential issues like signal degradation, allowing for immediate corrective action. Also, optimised transmission for challenging networks via TAG’s robust analysis to optimize LiveU’s resilient transmission, underpinned by its LRT (LiveU Reliable Transport) protocol.
