More sports added as Eurovision Services extends WorldFeed+ Sports free trial
Eurovision Services has extended the free trial of its WorldFeed+ Sports service until the end of the month and is adding more content to the schedule including additional cycling and equestrian events as well as archery and Formula E.
WorldFeed+ Sports provides broadcasters with access to rights-free content and programming from sports federations via satellite for a “modest” technical subscription fee.
The rights-free content can be used to fill broadcast channels in the absence of live sport caused by the COVID-19 lockdown. Federations are not be charged for using the service which is available globally.
In a statement, Eurovision Services said: “We know that things are difficult at the moment, that organisations are facing challenges and hierarchies have been disrupted. This is why we are extending the free trial period for our WorldFeed+ Sports service offering.
“Thanks to our excellent relationships with the world’s sports content owners, we are offering a wide range of sports and different programme formats, with at least four hours of original content each day. From football to motorsport, Olympic disciplines to extreme winter sports and even long-distance dog sledding, there is something to satisfy all audiences.”
All content is available on a free trial basis until the end of May 2020.
At the end of the free trial, it can be booked on a weekly or monthly basis with no obligation.
