Remote Production Spotlight 2023: Speakers from Aurora Media, TATA, and more added to the speaker line-up

More guests have been added to the content programme for SVG Europe’s online event Remote Production Spotlight, sponsored by Telos Alliance.

The 5 July event will explore best practice for sports remote production, looking at how to gain efficiencies and create more and different sports content.

The session on remote production for motorsport, focussing on Formula E, will now feature Aurora Media technical director Lee Flay and Jeremy Dujardin, CTO of Global Media & Entertainment Services at Tata Communications.

They join previously announced speakers Eric Ernst, technology director at Formula E, and Ed Tischler, managing director of Gravity Media. The foursome will discuss the remote production set-up for the single-seater electric car championship.

Also, Michael Yang, SVP of corporate strategy, Caton Technology; Dan Maloney, technical marketing manager, Matrox; Kevin Salvidge, sales engineering & technical marketing manager, Leader Europe; and Ian Godfrey, head of control systems, TSL Products, will take part in a Thought Leader Perspectives that will provide insight into ongoing remote production challenges – and how their companies might be able to help to overcome them.

In addition, Jens Cornelius Knudsen, head of production models and partnerships, production, TV2, and Mats Berggren, chief operating officer, DMC Norway, will explore the remote production of approximately 600 games per year in a wide range of sports, including football, ice hockey, handball, volleyball, floorball and basketball.
