Sport Production Summit: Sky Production Services, MAMA Youth Project and HBS’ Broadcast Academy to speak on diversity in broadcast

Bob Clarke, MAMA Youth Project founder and chief executive, will be speaking about diversity in sports broadcast at the SVG Europe Sport Production Summit

SVG Europe is excited to announce the speaker line-up for its Sport Production Summit session, Widening the Playing Field – Achieving Greater Diversity in Sports Broadcasting.

MAMA Youth Project founder and chief executive, Bob Clarke, Sky Production Services’ director, Inga Ruehl, and HBS’ Broadcast Academy acting head, Ekta Hutton, will tell the audience how they see different aspects of diversity within sports broadcast.

From gender to class, race and education, the three speakers will each take the stage to deliver a talk on what they see as the issues behind the current lack of diversity in sport broadcast.

The trio will then sit down with session chair, SVG Europe editor and internal head of SVG Europe Women, Heather McLean, to talk about what can be done, and more importantly how broadcasters and companies in the sports broadcast arena can start to remedy this issue.
