Sports Audio Summit 2023: Calrec’s Henry Goodman discusses his company’s collaboration with SSL

Calrec and SSL are collaborating on a cloud project, using common DSP backend technology, that will allow users to control cloud instances from either a Calrec or SSL console. Making use of Audiotonix ‘New Heights’ Cloud DSP mixing engine, it is expected to be completed in 2024, when there will be a continued focus on distributed production and more cloud products.

Speaking to SVG Europe at the Sports Audio Summit 2023 in London, Henry Goodman, Calrec director of product management, provides an update on this unprecedented tie-up.
