Solid State Logic (SSL), a manufacturer of advanced audio production systems for studio, live sound and broadcast, has returned as a Bronze sponsor of SVG Europe.
The company’s System T broadcast console has recently been chosen by a number of broadcasters, including TV2 in Denmark and Telewizja Polsat in Poland.
TV2 has installed three System T S300 and two S500 consoles of various configurations at its headquarters in Odense and in two OB trucks. Two more identically configured S500 consoles are scheduled for installation at TV 2’s headquarters, plus three at a second location in Copenhagen, which will eventually bring TV 2’s complement of SSL System T consoles to 10.
Polsat, meanwhile, has upgraded the two main news studios at its headquarters in Warsaw with a pair System T digital consoles. Studio A is now equipped with an SSL S500 48-fader surface powered by a T25 Tempest Engine supporting 1,024 I/O, and Studio B features a 32-fader version of the S500 surface with a T25 providing 512 I/O.
