SVG Europe Women announces the IBC Gathering in Amsterdam

SVG Europe Women is holding its annual IBC Gathering at the RAI Amsterdam on Saturday 4 December. All attendees are welcome to take time out from their busy IBC schedule to network with sports broadcasting peers and colleagues over a glass of wine, and hear updates on SVG Europe Women, SVG France, HBS Broadcast Academy, and get top tips on networking.

The gathering will kick off at 4pm, and at 4.30pm, SVG Europe editor and internal head of SVG Europe Women Heather McLean will give a short introduction and 2022 update on the community.

McLean will then introduce a number of industry figures speaking informally from the floor for five minutes each, starting with Lise Cosmi, industry consultant and external head of the SVG Europe Women Advisory Board, who will talk about the new SVG Europe France.

She will be followed by Ekta Hutton, head of Broadcast Academy, HBS, who will give an update on the Academy’s progress and the importance of bringing more diversity into the sports broadcasting industry.

Finally, we will hear from networking guru, Paula Rigby, international production development at PG Productions France and member of the SVG Europe Women Advisory Board, who will provide insight into the art of networking and how to make it work for you.

After that attendees can continue to chat, network, share stories and put the world to rights.

The venue for this event is the First Floor Restaurant at the RAI, Saturday 4 December from 4pm to 6pm (local time), after which we will be joined by all friends of SVG Europe for continued networking until 8pm.
