Vislink Technologies joins SVG Europe to help innovate its approach to sports broadcasting in the region

Vislink Technologies has come into the SVG Europe fold as a Gold Sponsor, citing, “inciteful and interesting opportunities to network” as a key reason for its membership.

Stated David Robins, global sales director at Vislink Technologies: “Vislink Technologies’ range of low latency, high-quality wireless camera systems and robust satcoms solutions are heavily used by the sports and entertainment video industry. So for Vislink, SVG Europe sponsorship is critical.

“SVG Europe provides access to inciteful and interesting opportunities to network with our peers and to stay ahead of the game,” Robins went on. “The editorial coverage provided and the opportunity to be the room with the top people in sports broadcasting creates a great vehicle to learn and innovate our thinking as well as share our achievements and innovations with the core of the sports broadcast industry.”

Vislink announced its official global repositioning to the worldwide market last month, following changing the name of its corporate entity from xG Technology in late February. The company has now united its individual product brands under one single Vislink Technologies brand entity.

As the key element of the rebranding, solutions currently marketed under the IMT and Vislink nomenclature, as well as other legacy products such as Advent, Gigawave, MRC, RFCentral, and Nucomm, will begin to adopt Vislink Technologies brand names. Product availability, service, and support will not be impacted as a result of the rebranding, it stated.
