SVG To Present Evolution of Spectator Sports Super Session at NAB
Sports venues have always competed with at-home viewing. Today’s high-definition televisions, coupled with the ever-present second screen, deliver crystal-clear pictures and up-to-the-minute stats directly to the living room. Looking to achieve that “you have to be there†fan feeling, today’s venues are more vibrant than ever, enabled by new technologies that improve all aspects of the spectator experience.
At NAB 2013, SVG will present The Evolution of Spectator Sports super session on Monday, April 8, from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. in Las Vegas Convention Center room S222.
Conference attendees are invited to learn what’s behind this venue evolution from the designers, integrators, and operators who are powering it. Attendees will hear from a team owner about why this evolution is necessary and get a live look at how several new venues are addressing the spectator experience.
The super session will include a panel discussion moderated by Steve Hellmuth, SVP, operations and technology, NBA Entertainment and chairman of the SVG advisory board. The panel will feature Chip Foley, director of building technologies, Forest City Ratner; Bob Jordan, SVP, Van Wagner Sports and Entertainment; and Chris Williams, VP, WJHW.
