Tiffen IRND Filters Are Available With Image-Enhancement Tools

Tiffen (Booth C8818) is demonstrating its new MPTV IRND+Black Pro-Mist filters and its IRND+Digital Diffusion FX (DDFX) filters.

Featuring ColorCore technology, the MPTV integrated filters reduce multiple surfaces and potential reflections caused by stacked filters. Merging Tiffen’s IRND technology with the Black Pro-Mist filter enables a soft-light, “pastel” effect by absorbing unwanted infrared pollution to enhance shallow depth of field; the IRND+DDFX’s optical-resolution reduction filters suppress facial blemishes and wrinkles, maintaining a clear, in-focus image.

The MPTV IRND+Black Pro-Mist filters are available now in sizes 4×4 (priced at $384), 4×5.65 ($545), and 6.6×6.6 ($649); the IRND+Digital Diffusion FX (DDFX) filters, in sizes 4×5.65 ($544) and 6.6×6.6 ($657).
