NAB 2016: Net Insight Partners with Verimatrix, Accedo; Launches Nimbra Media Gateway
At NAB 2016, Net Insight, a provider of live, interactive and on-demand media transport, announced that the company has entered a partnership with Verimatrix to deliver a OTT solution to the market. Then, Net Insight announced its solution partnership with Accedo, to enhance the live viewing experience in today’s mobile apps. Also, Net Insight launched its Nimba Media Gateway, a contribution gateway that caters to the needs of live video over IP in multi-vendor environments.
Net Insight and Verimatrix Partner to Deliver Secure True Live OTT Solution for End User Experiences
Net Insight announced at NAB 2016 that the company has entered a partnership with Verimatrix to bring a unique solution to the market that will enhance end-user experiences of live premium content while preserving the highest security for content owners.
This partnership will give Net Insight and Verimatrix the ability to jointly deliver a digital rights management (DRM) solution for live OTT that provides an end user viewing experience with ultra-fast channel swap times and scalability. The combined solution can handle the future requirements of local, and global live broadcast events.
Verimatrix specializes in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-network, multi-screen digital TV services around the world, and is a provider of revenue security for connected video devices globally. The pre-integrated Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for Internet TV solution features multi-format support for OTT services across multiple network types implementing the HTTP Live Streaming (HLS), and MPEG-DASH protocols, for both live (broadcast) and VoD content delivery. In addition, Net Insight also supports the Verimatrix ViewRight Secure Player, which encompasses the capability to license, securely distribute, and protect playback of multimedia content a wide range of CE device types.

Net Insight and Accedo Partner to Deliver Enhanced Live OTT Experiences in Mobile Apps
Net Insight announced its solution partnership with Accedo, an enabler of TV application solutions, to enhance the viewing experience in today’s mobile apps when watching live and linear OTT content. The partnership will also reduce time-to-market when launching new services for operators and content owners, looking to make use of Net Insight’s new true Live OTT solution – Sye – which uniquely synchronizes all TV viewing across multiple screens.
Net Insight and Accedo are working together on a large customer application project, integrating the software development kit (SDK) of Net Insight’s Sye solution into the Accedo development framework will enable bespoke user experiences. Furthermore, the integration means content owners can take advantage of the potential in truly live and synced OTT experiences. This includes features such as a smooth, instant and seamless channel swap-by-swiping, real time social interaction, which includes group chats and group invites as well as harmonized casting from app to set top box (STB).

Net Insight Launches Nimbra Media Gateway at NAB 2016
